“Experience counts.” It may sound cliché, but it is true nonetheless—especially when it comes to a role demanding practiced knowledge and familiarity with people. And experience is the reason you can trust caregivers like Valerie. She brings four decades of experience to her job, as well as compassion and patience. Educated at the Southside School of Practical Nursing, Valerie is a Licensed Practical Nurse and Certified Dementia Practitioner. But it is the overall health and well-being of her residents that drives her to excellence in her work each and every day. When she’s not at work, she enjoys cooking her favorite Southern dishes with recipes handed down from her grandmother.
